Unfortunately, in the Solar industry there has been a race to the bottom with regards standards and price, we are proud to be in the industry but do not feed into this by setting rock bottom prices, we provide fair and transparent pricing for high levels of service, installation and products. It is our view that a product is only as good as its warranty and the warranty is only as good as the company that backs that warranty up. There are products out there that offer long warranties but find every excuse possible to wriggle out of honouring it. The warranty for the products we provide has been tested and proved to be effective giving us confidence that if anything did go wrong, we would be able to get a replacement in no time at all.

Battery Storage

Battery storage is a great way to store surplus solar or wind power ensuring it can be used during high consumption times and prevents the power going to waste by stopping it back to the grid. Battery storage can also be used to charge up from the grid during low cost periods or what we call ‘off peak’ times. This power can then be discharged back into the property during the ‘peak’ times. An example of this would be that between 00:00 and 4:00am the electricity price may be 4p, the battery will automatically charge up during this window and store that 4p electricity. During the rest of the day the cost may be 17p, however the battery will then discharge its stored 4p power and therefore save you buying in the 17p power to run the home.
The other benefit of a battery storage system is that if you have a power cut then the battery can keep elements of your home up and running. Each battery system does this in a slightly different way and if this is something you would be interested in then let us know and we can discuss the options available.
